This year, the Dajia Mazu holy pilgrimage took place over the course of eight days and seven nights, from 22/03/2009 until 29/03/2009.

The official ceremony started at Zhenlan Temple on Saturday 21/03/2009 in Dajia Township, Taichung County, Taiwan.

The Dajia Mazu holy pilgrimage event crosses over four counties, more than twenty cities, townships and villages, and pays tribute to more than 80 temples.

During the passing of Dajia Mazu, crowds burns sacrificial money on the streets.

Festival y Peregrinaje Anual de Mazu, Dajia, Taiwan

En este ano, el peregrinaje de la diosa Mazu de Dajia, tuvo lugar durante el curso de 8 dias y 7 noches, desde 22/03/2009 hasta 29/03/2009.

La ceremonia se inicio en el Templo Zhenlan el Sabado 21/03/2009 en el Municipio de Dajia, Distrito de Taichung, Taiwan.

El evento de peregrinaje de la diosa Mazu de Dajia, cruza sobre cuatro distritos, y mas de veinte ciudades y municipios, y pueblos, y ofrece tributo a mas de 80 templos.

Durante el paso de la Diosa Mazu, creyentes queman dinero como culto de sacrificio en las calles.
