Locomotive No. 54 was made the inaugural journey on 1961. During the 20th century, the locomotive No. 54. was the only transport which cross 400 km. from the Central Station of Asuncion to Encarnacion City, Southern Paraguay. Locomotive No. 54, built by North British in 1911. The train in Paraguay was one of the first to function in South America.
